WHY THE ENEMY TAKES YOUR ABILITY TO DEFEND YOURSELF

When the enemy or any person takes away your ability to defend yourself, he simultaneously takes your voice too. If you can’t defend yourself it means you can’t speak. If you can’t speak, you can’t even explain yourself where you need to, especially if there is a need to clarify anything, particularly after an accusation. Sometimes these situations play out on jobs where a supervisor or boss does not allow an employee/subordinate to explain why they did what they did thus allowing the accusation to stand even if it’s false. This leads to injustice always. The reason why in a court of law there are principles of natural justice followed is to allow every person to defend themselves, afford them an opportunity to argue their case and allow for fairness. Failure to do this will lead to a miscarriage of justice and a lot of wrong incarcerations and sentences.

One of the major reasons why Hitler and his forces succeeded in killing approximately 6 million Jews is because they had stripped them of self-defence. I have seen some documentaries that show how they were treated like tamed animals with no will. They were led to the slaughter without much protest. They were undressed publicly without resistance. They were killed at will and many times for no offence at all. The SS could just aim at a person randomly and take their life like it didn’t matter, no one also held them accountable. They could not fight back because they were not allowed to and they had no weapons. Their dignity and humanity were stripped from them. Because every human was created with instincts to fight back or defend themselves when under attack, if you take that away, you have taken away a great part of their human aspect and they become 100% vulnerable. In fact, I have found out that God has not created anything without giving it the ability to defend itself, whether it’s a skunk by its smell or a bee with its sting, everything has a self-defence element in-built by a loving Creator.

Hitler managed to exert more damage than Haman would have because the Jews in Susa and other Provinces were authorized to defend themselves against their enemies by the new decree made after Mordecai’s promotion. They were permitted to take up arms and fight and kill those that attempted to kill them and this was fair. This decree countered the first decree that had pronounced a total execution and annihilation of the Jews by hateful Haman. In this decree, they were powerless and easy prey. If this decree was not made, Haman’s wish would have come to pass, and no Jew would have remained in that kingdom. Because that bloodthirsty spirit was not full of Jewish blood in the kingdom of King Ahasuerus, it raised its head through Hitler. It’s still around to date looking for more blood, especially that of the children of God. Take note!

Every time you deal with a person who doesn’t allow you to speak to explain your actions, whether you are right or wrong, beware! They have already condemned you.

Every time you deal with a person who talks over you, watch out! They undermine your voice and what you have to say.

Every time you deal with a person who shushes you, take note, they think you have nothing to say. They also think they are better than you.

Every time you are judged without a fair trial, you have been stripped of your right to justice. You are dealing with an oppressor.

I can give more examples but I just want to say to you, you have a right to speak, you have a right to be heard, you have a right to explain yourself, you have a right to express your thoughts, you have a right to defend who you are and you have a right to have your voice respected.
